Blogs

Welcome to my blog page!

What’s new? A lot.

Check back often for regular updates on my American Sightseeing Blog.

I wrote a hiking blog from 2012 to 2015 when we were avid day hikers. We ventured all over the place exploring hiking trails and I would log and write about our hikes. In January, 2016 I broke my left leg in 3 places and was down for the count the entire summer of 2016.  I struggled through 2017 and 2018 and was not able to hike on the rough terrain. 2019 came along and our granddaughter was diagnosed with leukemia and then I fell and tore my right knee and had to have surgery to fix it – torn medial meniscus, torn lateral meniscus, torn MCL and torn ACL. When I get hurt I do it right.

Surgery left my right leg numb from the knee down to the ankle. I believe my avid hiking days are over. Fast forward to April 2020 and I broke my right foot and big toe. I am walking decent today, but will probably always have a limp. I am determined to not let it get me down. I am working my way back up to hiking trails again.

I offer the thoughts above as basic inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where a very powerful factor might be working in honest good faith. 5. Hi there would you mind stating which blog platform you’re working with? I’m going to start my own blog soon but I’m having a hard time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique. P.S My apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
